Classifieds Policy

The fol­low­ing will detail the Rub­bing Pixel pol­icy, terms and con­di­tions with using the Classified’s sec­tion of the site both as a poten­tial buyer and seller.

For Buy­ers.

1. The infor­ma­tion listed on the Rub­bing Pix­els web­site has been added by peo­ple who have a reg­is­tered account with us or who are paid members.

2. Rub­bing Pix­els respon­si­bil­ity for the list­ing only extends to the item being reviewed by staff for con­tent cor­rect­ness and presentation.

3. Rub­bing Pix­els does not han­dle in any way pay­ment or con­trol over the item and is not respon­si­ble for it’s adver­tised con­di­tion or postage of the item.

4. If you have a prob­lem with buy­ing an item from the site, our course of action will only be lim­ited to that required by law.

For Sell­ers.

1. To list an item on the Rub­bing Pix­els web­site you need to have a free guest account or mem­bers account and be logged in.

2. List­ing items can be done from your “Your Account” section.

3. When list­ing items the site will auto­mat­i­cally use your reg­is­tered account name and email address as the default con­tact infor­ma­tion, this infor­ma­tion is only vis­i­ble if you have a Rub­bing Pix­els guest or mem­bers account. You can add a phone num­ber if you wish too.

4. In the descrip­tion sec­tion please include as much rel­e­vant infor­ma­tion as pos­si­ble about your item, includ­ing it’s con­di­tion, postage cost, if you cant guess postage cost please let the buyer know to con­tact you about postage. Please don’t copy and paste bulk sec­tions of generic infor­ma­tion from other web­sites about your item. Links are not permitted.

5. You are required to upload an image of the item you are sell­ing. Where pos­si­ble we ask that you show the actual prod­uct being sold. If that is not pos­si­ble then we will accept a generic image of the item.

6. If your clas­si­fied sub­mis­sion is declined by staff you will be told why so that you can fix the prob­lem and then re submit.

7. All approved list­ings are valid for two weeks, after two weeks they are removed from being vis­i­ble on the site. If the item is still for sale then you can re list the item from the “Your Account” sec­tion and it will be valid for another two weeks. If your item has expired for a month it maybe deleted from the site. At any time you can removed / delete your item for sale from the “Your Account” section.
